Daily Devotions: Pastor Kent is recording daily devotions from Monday to Saturday. The nature of the devotions will include thoughts to uplift your spirits, brief educational moments about the bible, the Christian life, and theology. Monday messages will be based on a quote from the great 19th century Scottish writer George MacDonald. Tuesday will focus on the lectionary Psalm reading for that day. Wednesday’s message will be centered on a hymn text, its author, and the meaning of the hymn in our history and our lives. Thursday will be theology day, in which I will discuss an important theological issue and (try to) make it relevant to our everyday living in faith. Faith Fridays will focus very specifically on understanding faith and putting it into practice. And Saturday will be a day for miscellaneous thoughts and inspiration. We hope that these messages will feed your spirit daily. We are open to suggestions on topics, content, style, delivery, or other feedback that you may provide.
